Highway 146 in Kemah shut down due to gas line rupture, police say

Efforts were ongoing to repair a ruptured gas line that necessitated the closure of a major highway near Kemah on Tuesday.

As of a 7:14 p.m. update provided by the Kemah Fire Department, personnel remained at the scene of the leak located on Highway 146 at Cien Road.
