Dallas voters consider $1.25 billion in capital improvement bonds

On May 4, the city of Dallas presented a series of bond propositions aimed at funding various capital projects.

The largest allocation on the ballot was over $520 million designated for street projects citywide, comprising nearly half of the entire bond package.

Following closely behind was $345 million earmarked for park projects within the city.

The bond package was endorsed by the Dallas City Council in February with a vote of 14-1. Notably, updates to City Hall and the Stemmons Building were removed from the package prior to approval.

Here’s a breakdown of the dollar amounts for the 10 propositions and the most recent vote.
