Donald Trump to speak at annual NRA Convention in Dallas

The National Rifle Association of America (NRA) has announced that former U.S. President Donald J. Trump will serve as the keynote speaker at the 2024 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Dallas. Trump is scheduled to address NRA members on Saturday, May 18 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, marking his ninth appearance on the NRA stage. The association emphasized Trump’s unwavering support for the NRA, the Second Amendment, and the American tradition of firearm ownership.

According to the NRA, Trump’s relationship with the organization began in Nashville in 2015, and he has remained a steadfast advocate for its values ever since. Trump’s commitment to the NRA and its members, along with his dedication to defending the Second Amendment and the right to self-defense, has been consistent throughout his presidency and beyond.

Andrew Arulanandam, NRA Interim Executive Vice President & CEO, highlighted Trump’s resilience in the face of criticism, stating that Trump’s willingness to stand up for American values has earned him the support of NRA members nationwide.

The NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits is a significant event featuring three days of seminars, special events, and a vast exhibit hall showcasing the latest firearms and outdoor gear. It represents the largest gathering of NRA members and Second Amendment supporters across the country.

Randy Kozuch, Executive Director of NRA-ILA, underscored Trump’s appearance as a testament to his ongoing dedication to constitutional freedoms and the NRA’s mission to safeguard Second Amendment rights for all law-abiding Americans. Trump’s participation at the event is eagerly anticipated by fellow NRA members, particularly given the current state of the nation.
