Rolex thief pepper-sprays victim in Chase Bank parking lot, Allen Police say

Police in Collin County are searching for two suspects following an assault and theft during an online marketplace meetup.

The incident occurred at a Chase Bank parking lot in the 800 block of S. Allen Heights Drive in Allen around 4:46 p.m., according to the Allen Police Department.

Reports indicate that an individual had arranged to sell a Rolex watch to someone they met online. However, during the meeting, one of the suspects allegedly pepper-sprayed the seller, stole the watch, and fled the scene in a black Chevy Camaro with tinted windows, heading eastbound on Bethany Drive.

Authorities have provided a description of the first suspect as an 18-20-year-old male, approximately 5’9” tall, with black hair, weighing around 140 lbs. He was reportedly wearing a black suit jacket, white dress shirt, black pants, rimless glasses, and black dress shoes.

The second suspect is described as an 18-20-year-old Hispanic or possibly Middle Eastern male, believed to have served as the getaway driver.
