Two individuals tragically lost their lives in a collision on Houston’s southside overnight, as reported by police.

According to Houston police, a truck collided with the victims’ vehicle as they attempted to make a left turn at a stop sign from Timber Creek Drive to Galveston Road.

The impact of the crash propelled both vehicles into a nearby ditch, with one car traveling approximately 150 feet before coming to a stop. Sadly, the two occupants of this car did not survive.

The occupants of the truck, however, survived the crash.

Houston Police Department noted that they were investigating whether speed played a role in the accident and were actively seeking surveillance footage from the vicinity.
