Police search for hit-and-run driver who killed pedestrian in Fort Worth

Fort Worth police are searching for a vehicle in connection with a hit-and-run that killed a pedestrian last week.

Michael Corrigan, 27, was struck about 6 a.m. Thursday as he walked in the 500 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Freeway, Fort Worth police said.

He was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital and died of his injuries.

According to police, there are no known witnesses to the crash and no description of the vehicle is available.
