Simone Biles to appear in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue again

Simone Biles will appear in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue for the second time when the 2019 edition hits newsstands next week.

Biles, who is from Houston and won four gold medals and a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympics, first appeared in the 2017 edition of the magazine’s swimsuit issue. For that shoot, she was photographed in Houston alongside Olympic teammate Aly Raisman. This year’s shoot was in Puerto Vallarta

After her sensational performance at the 2016 Olympics, Biles took a year off, then came back and won the all-around title at the 2018 World Championships.

Biles will be joined by other athletes in the magazine, which comes out May 13. Other athletes featured in the issue include: pro skier Lindsay Vonn, UFC’s Paige VanZant, and United States Women’s National Team members Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe, Abby Dahlkemper, Crystal Dunn.
