Texas King Irving hosted annual iftar dinner in Irving ‬

‪Dallas:  Texas King Irving hosted annual iftar dinner hosted by its owner Khawar Abbas and his sons Nabeel Khawar and Adeel Khawar. The event was attended by many community members and activists. Imam of Barkat Ul Quran Center Allama Mukhtar Ahmad Naeemi gave a talk on the importance of fasting. He said that worldly knowledge and education would protect you in physical sense but fasting protect your soul and address its needs. This is what Prophet Mohammad PBUH taught us and helped us in protection of our soul. He said that if the volume of food thrown out in US can be saved it can feed all the poor people in Pakistan. He said that fasting is a tool to purify you from negative thoughts and acts.‬
‪Several naat reciters presented their devoted verses to Prophet Mohammad PBUH. Iftar event was also participated by Muslim Democratic Caucus leader Syed Fayyaz Hassan, Pakistan Society of North Texas President Abid Malik, Dallas businessman and energy drink owner Hafeez Khan, Jago Times Editor in Chief Raja Zahid Khanzada, APPNA board of trustee member Dr. Dawood Nasir, community leader Nadeem Akhtar, Pakistan TV Ex. Producer Furqan Haider, Dallas famous poet Younus Ajaz, Awais Naseer, Adeel Memon, Ibrahim Anjum, Ghulam Jangda, and Madina Masjid President Shoaib Khan among more than a hundred from Dallas Fort Worth area.‬
‪Iftar was followed with a sumptuous dinner. Event host Ali Khawar and Adeel and Nabeel Khawar thanked the participants and audience. They thanked Dallas Pakistani community for their trust on Texas King Restaurant. They said that they will keep serving the community needs and will serve the cause of Muslims in general ‬
