Kenefick woman holds alleged burglar at gunpoint until cops arrive

A suspected burglar found himself staring down the barrel of a shotgun of a Kenefick woman after his lie was discovered on Monday morning.

However, it was a long journey to Dana Clover’s home in Kenefick, Liberty County law enforcement officials said.

Around 7 a.m. on Aug. 19, resident Justin Garrett told emergency service officials that he heard someone rummaging through his neighbor’s trailer. Garrett knew his next door neighbor was out of town and called 9-1-1, the officials said.

Sheriff deputies arrived quickly to the scene and saw a burglary suspect flee from the camper trailer and drop several stolen guns as he fled into the nearby woods
