Suspect flees after shooting man in Far East Dallas, police say

Dallas police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured Tuesday night at an apartment complex in Far East Dallas.

The victim was found around 11 p.m. in the 2700 block of North Buckner Boulevard. He was taken to an area hospital with injuries that weren’t considered life-threatening, police said.

According to police, the suspect fired shots from a vehicle near the Buckner entrance to the apartment complex, then fled the scene and is still at large.
