Teen arrested in connection with woman’s fatal shooting last month in Fort Worth

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with last month’s slaying of a woman in south Fort Worth.

Leontye Willis was booked Thursday, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported.

Officers responding to a shooting call found Anjonae Eubanks, 33, about 11 p.m. on January 9 near the front door of a home in the 6400 block of Canyon Circle Drive. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police did not describe what led to the arrest or any possible move, the newspaper said.
