Tropical system in the Gulf brings back rain chances

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — We strongly encourage you to stay weather aware Monday and Tuesday at Tropical Storm Nicholas brings flooding rains, gusty winds, and storm surge to Southeast Texas.

Rain is expected off and on Monday as rainbands from Nicholas spread inland. Landfall is now expected somewhere near Matagorda Bay Monday evening. Conditions will deteriorate Monday evening through Tuesday morning.
