Storms return this week

North Texas enjoyed a warm weekend, with sunshine, low humidity and high temperatures in the low 90s. The next few days will remain warmer than normal, and we will also notice an increase in humidity by Monday afternoon and Tuesday.

It’s been very dry so far this September, but that will change in the coming days. The increasing humidity, together with an approaching upper-level storm system, will bring the chance for a few spotty thunderstorms on Tuesday. And our rain chances will increase Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. A very welcome one to two inches of rain is likely before the end of the week.
