Texas adds 1,714 new cases, passes 8 million vaccinations statewide

Across the state, 1,714 more cases were reported Sunday, including 1,684 new cases and 30 older ones recently reported by labs. The state also reported 21 COVID-19 deaths, raising its toll to 47,746. Police find vehicle suspected in 3 attempted kidnappings in Denton County; driver arrested on unrelated charge
