Woman stabbed to death in northeast Houston; man detained for questioning

A woman was found stabbed to death inside a car in Kashmere Gardens area early Friday.

The woman and a man were sitting in a car along Sayers Street near Emmet, in northeast Houston, when she was attacked around 3:10 a.m., Houston Police Department Homicide Detective E. Aguilera told media. Paramedics rushed to the scene and pronounced the woman dead inside the car

Aguilera did not disclose whom police believe stabbed the woman but said they were questioning the man who was in the car with her.
