Ronald Haskell sentenced to death in Stay family massacre

A Harris County jury on Friday sentenced Ronald Haskell to death, handing down the maximum penalty for the man who killed six members of his ex-wife’s family in 2014.

The decision capped almost seven weeks of trial for the former Fed Ex driver, who was convicted of capital murder in the slayings of his ex-sister and brother-in-law in Spring. He has also admitted to fatally shooting four of the couple’s five children.
