Atascocita firefighters free driver trapped after major collision

A pickup collided with a heavy-duty truck Friday northeast of Houston, crumpling the cab of the pickup and trapping the driver inside, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers said the pickup veered out of its lane and in front of the heavy duty truck around 5 p.m. in the 4700 block of Atascocita Road.
