Group on motorcycles opened fire on man outside Fort Worth restaurant, police say

A man was wounded when people on motorcycles opened fire on him outside a fast-food restaurant in Fort Worth, authorities say.

Officers were called about 8:30 p.m. Sunday to a Jack in the Box in the 4600 block of South Hulen Street, near Interstate 20. The man was in the parking lot when several people drove up on motorcycles and started shooting at him, police said.

The man, whose name was not released, suffered arm injuries that police said may have been caused by bullet fragments. It was unclear whether he was hospitalized.

He told police he thought he was mistaken for someone who had been driving recklessly in the area in a similar-looking vehicle.

The motorcyclists fled, and no descriptions of them were available Monday.
