Man found fatally shot on east Oak Cliff street

A man died after being found shot multiple times on an east Oak Cliff street Saturday night.

Dallas police were called about 8:45 p.m. to the 2200 block of Gallatin Street, near Cedar Crest Boulevard and Bonnie View Road, where they found a 44-year-old man lying in the road. He had multiple gunshot wounds, police said.

Dallas Fire-Rescue took the man to Methodist Dallas Medical Center, where he died.

Authorities have not released the man’s name, pending notification of his next of kin.

No suspects are in custody, police said.
