Beautiful Sunday ahead

After a chilly morning, temperatures will warm up nicely this afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 60s. A few 70s are even possible south of DFW. A wind shift from the southwest to northwest will occur this afternoon. This north wind will push in some cooler air for Monday, but nothing drastic for January standards.

We will be watching the development of a storm system later in the week. Rain chances will be increasing starting Thursday and continuing through at least Saturday morning. But it could be a bit soggy for a couple days to wrap up the work-week and heading into next weekend. Check back for updates.
