Woman found dead in southeast Oak Cliff home, police say

Dallas police found a woman dead in a home in southeast Oak Cliff on Sunday, and are investigating her death as a homicide.

Officers were called to the 6600 block of Happy Trails Drive just before 8 a.m. for a welfare check of the victim, 37-year-old Jennifer Hickmon.

Officers entered the home and determined Hickmon died from homicidal violence. Police did not provide additional details or say if a suspect has been identified.
