Police investigating after 47-year old man found shot in a car in South Dallas

Dallas police are investigating after a man was found shot in a car in South Dallas Thursday.

Officers responded to a shooting call at 3:30 a.m. in the 3400 block of Pine Street, near Opportunity Park, and found 47-year-old Anthony Patterson with a single gunshot wound.

Patterson was taken to a local hospital where he later died. No other information about what led to the shooting was made available
