Missing 67-year-old woman found safe, Dallas police say

Joann Briggs was last seen about 9 a.m. walking in the 8200 block of Walnut Hill Lane, near Greenville Avenue.

She may be disoriented and need help, police said.

Briggs is described as a white woman with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5-3 and weighs about 110 pounds, police said.

She was last seen in a floral nightgown and blue socks. Police provided a photo of Briggs that appears to show her with a bruised and swollen eye, and a police spokesman didn’t immediately respond to questions about the photo.

Anyone with information about Briggs’ location may call 911 or the Dallas Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit at 214-671-4268.
