Dry start to the week, but rain is coming

The new work-week will start off dry, but more rain is coming this week. Skies will be partly sunny today and a breezy south wind help boost temperatures into the 80s once again. A slight chance of afternoon or evening thunderstorms is in the forecast for Tuesday.

Much higher rain chances are showing up for Wednesday and Thursday. Thunderstorms will bring good soaking rain to North Texas those two days. It’s possible we could be looking at 3 to 5 inches of rain before all is said and done this week. Dry weather will return Friday and continue through the weekend.
