Man brandished weapon while robbing bank inside Mesquite Walmart, police say

Mesquite police are looking for a man who brandished a weapon while robbing a bank Monday morning.

Police said the man walked up to a teller about 10:15 a.m. in the Woodforest National Bank, which is inside a Walmart in the 900 block of North Town East Boulevard.

The robber showed the teller a weapon and demanded money before running away, police said.

Surveillance footage from a nearby neighborhood showed the man changing shirts shortly before the robbery. A detailed description of the robber was not available.
