Across Texas, 526 more coronavirus cases were reported Sunday, including 45 older cases that were recently confirmed by labs.
The state also reported 13 new COVID-19 fatalities, bringing its death toll to 51,030.
Of the new cases, 387 were confirmed and 94 were probable. Of the older cases, 42 were confirmed and three were probable.
The state’s case total is now 2,975,701, including 2,536,646 confirmed and 439,055 probable.
According to the state, 13,581,576 people in Texas have received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine, while 11,462,001 — 47.6% of the state’s population 12 and older — are fully vaccinated.
Tarrant County
Tarrant County reported two new deaths and 66 new cases Sunday.
Details about the latest fatalities were not immediately available.
Of the new cases, 48 were confirmed and 18 were probable. The numbers bring the county’s case total to 262,529, including 219,395 confirmed and 43,134 probable. Deaths total 3,557.
According to the state, 920,458 people in Tarrant County have received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine, while 798,711 — 45.9% of the county’s population 12 and older — are fully vaccinated.
Dallas County
Dallas County officials no longer report new coronavirus data on Sundays. Figures that previously would have been reported Sunday will be released Monday.
As of Saturday, the county’s overall case total was 305,400 — 262,178 confirmed and 43,222 probable. The death toll was 4,109.
The average number of new daily cases in the county for the last two weeks is 110. For the previous 14-day period, the average was 100.
According to the state, 1,231,149 people in Dallas County have received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine, while 1,029,102 — 47.2% of the county’s population 12 and older — are fully vaccinated.
Collin County
The state added 50 new cases and one new death to Collin County’s totals Sunday.
Details about the latest death were not available.
The county’s case total is 92,550, including 75,724 confirmed and 16,826 probable. Deaths total 841.
According to the state, 569,385 people in Collin County have received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine, while 495,994 — 57.3% of the county’s population 12 and older — are fully vaccinated.
Denton County
Denton County officials no longer report new coronavirus data on Sundays.
As of Friday, the county had a total of 76,705 COVID-19 cases, including 56,201 confirmed and 20,504 probable. The death toll stood at 604.
According to the state, 443,376 people in Denton County have received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine, while 381,760 — 50.9% of the county’s population 12 and older — are fully vaccinated.
Other counties
The Texas Department of State Health Services has taken over reporting for these other North Texas counties. In some counties, new data may not be reported every day.

- Rockwall County: 11,807 cases (9,442 confirmed and 2,365 probable), 157 deaths.
- Kaufman County: 16,465 cases (13,622 confirmed and 2,843 probable), 264 deaths.
- Ellis County: 23,256 cases (19,184 confirmed and 4,072 probable), 323 deaths.
- Johnson County: 20,093 cases (16,972 confirmed and 3,121 probable), 374 deaths.
