Spotty storms Friday afternoon

Friday will feature a mostly cloudy sky along with spotty afternoon storms, but most of us will stay dry. The clouds will hold down temperatures a bit, mainly around 90.

Saturday will be dry and warmer with highs in the low 90s. Humidity levels will be moderately high with an afternoon heat index in the upper 90s.

A weak cold front will move into North Texas on Sunday with more numerous showers and storms possible along the front. Temperatures will drop a bit, and the humidity may also come down a touch.
