Spotty storms and a warm up

wea

Temperatures will remain below normal in North Texas Thursday, but are relatively comfortable by early August standards. Highs will be in the low 90s with only a moderate amount of humidity. There will be a chance of isolated storms Thursday afternoon.

A warming trend will send afternoon temperatures into the upper 90s this weekend. In addition, oppressive heat will return heading into the weekend. Humidity levels will be increasing meaning that heat index values will rise to 105 to 110.

Much of next week looks hot and dry across North Texas.
