Warm weekend before storm chances return

Another Air Quality Alert has been issued for the DFW area again on Sunday. Limit time outdoors if you have respiratory problems.

After a couple of days with below normal temperatures, warmer weather returned this weekend. Temperatures warmed into the low 90s Saturday, and will do so again the next few days. We will also notice an increase in humidity by Monday afternoon.

It’s been fairly dry so far this September, but that will change in the coming days. The increasing humidity, together with an approaching upper level storm system will bring the chance for a few spotty thunderstorms on Tuesday. And our rain chances will only increase through the end of the week.
