Warm fall days ahead

After some morning clouds Wednesday morning, the afternoon will feature mostly sunny skies with southwest winds around 10 mph. Following a very nice stretch of cool fall weather in North Texas, expect a transition to warmer than normal temperatures each afternoon. The normal high temperature at DFW this time of year is 77. Expected high temperatures will be in the 80s for the next several days.

There is a weak cold front that will slip into North Texas Thursday morning. Behind the front, early morning temperatures will drop into the mid-50s. The front may generate spotty showers, but much of the area will remain dry.

The weekend will be dry , breezy and warm with highs in the low to middle 80s.
