Some milder days are ahead

Sunday will feature sunny skies and slightly milder temperatures. A weak cold front will move through the region early, turning winds to the north around 10 mph. The front will not have an impact on temperatures and no rain is expected. Highs will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

The upcoming week looks pleasant with continued sunshine each day. Breezy south winds will return by Tuesday and Wednesday, and that will bring a significant warm-up. A cold front will push through Wednesday night into Thursday. There may be a few showers in east Texas, but our part of the state should remain dry. Temperatures will trend quite a bit cooler to finish the week.
