Another hard freeze

An arctic cold front moved into North Texas Saturday afternoon. Temperatures plummeted overnight to a low of 19 at DFW Airport early Sunday morning.

In spite of sunny skies, a brisk north wind kept temperatures in the 30s all afternoon in most of the area. With clear skies and diminishing winds, expect freezing temperatures again Monday morning.

After a couple of cold days, it will briefly rebound to the 60s on Tuesday. But another cold front will arrive around mid-day on Wednesday, and temperatures will fall quickly once again, and remain chilly for the rest of the week. No precipitation is anticipated with that next cold front.
