Man found slain in field in west Oak Cliff, Dallas police say

A man was found slain in west Oak Cliff early Friday, Dallas police say.

Officers were called about 12:30 a.m. to the 1000 block of Pinnacle Park Boulevard, near North Westmoreland Road and Fort Worth Avenue, where they found a man lying dead in a field.

Police said the man was killed by homicidal violence but did not release his cause of death. The man’s identity was not released.

No additional details were immediately available, and police are continuing to investigate.
