Man dies at hospital after being shot in Red Bird, Dallas police say

Dallas police said a man died after being shot in Red Bird early Saturday.

Officers responded about 3 a.m. to a shooting in the 8100 block of Leigh Ann Drive, near West Wheatland Road, police said. Two men were in a fight when one shot the other, police said.

The shooter left the area, and the victim, who has not been identified, was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries, police said.

Police are still investigating and did not share any additional details about the gunman or what led to the shooting.
