36-year-old woman fatally shot in Pleasant Grove, Dallas police say

A 36-year-old woman shot in Pleasant Grove on Sunday evening has died, Dallas police say.

Officers were dispatched about 10:15 p.m. to the 1000 block of Rose Garden Avenue, near Buckner Boulevard and Dell Garden Avenue, where they found Nancy Banda wounded.

Dallas Fire-Rescue took Banda to a hospital, where she died Tuesday, according to police.

No additional information about the shooting or possible suspects was immediately available.
