A 39-year-old woman was found fatally shot in southeast Oak Cliff on Thursday morning, Dallas police say.
About 11:55 a.m., officers were dispatched for a welfare check in the 6500 block of University Hills Boulevard, near Lazy River Drive, where they found Becky Alvarado Tamayo dead from a gunshot wound.
No additional information about what led to the shooting or possible suspects was immediately available.
