Fight in east Oak Cliff leads to fatal stabbing, Dallas police say

A 51-year-old man was arrested early Saturday in connection with a fatal stabbing in east Oak Cliff, Dallas police say.

Officers responded to a stabbing call in the 1800 block of Adelaide Drive about 3:45 a.m. Saturday and found a man who had been stabbed. A Dallas Fire-Rescue crew began to treat the man, but he died from his injuries.

The victim’s name has not been released.

Detectives determined the victim and suspect, 51-year-old Randell Wilson, were fighting when Wilson stabbed the other man, police said.

Wilson was booked into jail in Dallas County, where he faces a murder charge. His bail has not been set, and it was unclear whether he had an attorney.
