Man found fatally shot in east Oak Cliff, Dallas police say

A man was found fatally shot Friday afternoon in east Oak Cliff, Dallas police say.

Officers responded to a call shortly after noon in the 1400 block of Claude Street, near Morrell Avenue, where they found a man who had been shot. The man, whose identity has not been released, died there, police said.

Officers are investigating the shooting. No additional details were available about potential suspects or what led to the slaying.
