According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, an 18-year-old, reportedly distressed over a recent breakup, has been accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend’s brother in Northwest Harris County

In Harris County, Texas, an 18-year-old individual allegedly stabbed his ex-girlfriend’s brother during a confrontation that possibly stemmed from a breakup. The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon at the 3200 block of Bolton Gardens Drive, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Reportedly, the suspect arrived at his 17-year-old ex-girlfriend’s residence in the Greenfield Village subdivision in northwest Harris County around 1:30 p.m. The ex-girlfriend’s brother intervened and requested the 18-year-old to leave. A physical altercation ensued between the suspect and the brother, resulting in the suspect stabbing the victim with a knife.

Connie Medrano, a nearby resident, described witnessing the victim clutching his stomach wound and seeking assistance from a neighbor’s house. Surveillance footage exclusively obtained by Eyewitness News captured the victim’s distress.

Following the incident, the suspect fled the scene but was later located by deputies. He was transported to the hospital for a minor hand injury. The victim’s age and the suspect’s identity were not disclosed by the sheriff’s office.
