In Dallas early Sunday morning, tragedy struck as an 80-year-old woman lost her life in a shooting incident, leading to the arrest of another woman.

Dallas Police Department reported that 30-year-old Kelsie Miles has been charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of 80-year-old Betty Hearn.

The fatal incident occurred at approximately 5:10 a.m. in the 4700 block of Colwick Avenue.

Grand Prairie Police Department disclosed that Miles voluntarily visited their station headquarters and confessed to shooting another woman in Dallas.
