One year after search for Everman boy, no sign of body or boy’s fugitive mother

Sunday marked the one-year anniversary since the official commencement of the global search for a missing boy from Everman, initiating an intense hunt for both him and his fugitive mother, Cindy Rodriguez Singh.

Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez, a six-year-old, sparked an Amber Alert upon his disappearance, prompting an international pursuit for his whereabouts. Despite exhaustive efforts, neither Noel nor his mother has been located to date.

Chief C.W. Spencer of the Everman Police Department held a press briefing in March 2023, highlighting the urgency of the situation. He emphasized the lack of cooperation from Noel’s mother, heightening concerns for the child’s safety.

Following extensive searches, authorities made a disheartening declaration: Noel was presumed deceased. Although his remains have not been recovered, trained K9s detected human remains on the property where the family resided.

Noel’s family, including his mother, stepfather, and six siblings, lived in substandard conditions behind a residence owned by Charles Parson. While Parson initially claimed the Singhs were friends and suggested Noel was living with an aunt in Mexico, subsequent investigations disproved this claim.

Parson, a potential witness in the case, passed away recently, further complicating the ongoing investigation. Around the time of Noel’s disappearance, his mother and stepfather fled the country with their other children, evading law enforcement efforts.

Despite the challenges posed by their international flight, the Everman Police Department, alongside the FBI Dallas Division and international partners, remains steadfast in their pursuit of justice. They are actively working to locate Rodriguez-Singh and hold her accountable for Noel’s death.

In the midst of this tragedy, foster parent Patricia Paris remains deeply invested in seeking justice for Noel. Reflecting on his absence, she expresses her ongoing grief and questions about what he would be doing now.

Despite the sorrow, the community honors Noel’s memory by dedicating a playground in his name. The Everman Police Department reiterated its commitment to ensuring justice for Noel and expressed gratitude for the community’s support throughout this challenging ordeal.
