Unidentified teen dies after he was dropped off at hospital in NW Harris County, sheriff says

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the death of a teenage individual who was dropped off unresponsive at a hospital in northwest Harris County, as announced by Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

Sheriff Gonzalez took to social media on Wednesday seeking information from the public regarding the case. Deputies responded to Houston NW Hospital located at 710 FM 1960 Road West around 3 p.m., where an unidentified male believed to be between the ages of 15 and 17 was dropped off by a woman accompanied by two men, all of whom fled the scene in a white car.

Sgt. Sidney Miller of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office stated that authorities are examining video footage and pursuing other leads to locate the individuals involved.

Tragically, the teenager was pronounced deceased upon arrival at the hospital. Sgt. Miller noted that the teen appeared to have been deceased for some time, though the exact cause and duration of death will be determined by the medical examiner.

Currently, no other scenes related to the teenager’s death are under investigation. However, authorities are exploring potential connections to a previous call that may be linked to the incident.

Anyone with information relevant to the case is urged to contact the sheriff’s office at 713-221-6000 or 713-274-9100.
