In east Harris County, an altercation between two individuals turned fatal on Friday evening, prompting an investigation by law enforcement.
The incident occurred at a residence in the 14100 block of Bonham Street near Hollywood at approximately 11 p.m.
Upon arrival, deputies found the victim on the ground, and he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
According to investigators from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), the victim was reportedly engaged in a dispute with a woman who is related to the suspect involved.
Police stated that the suspect subsequently arrived at the residence and engaged in a physical altercation with the victim.
After the altercation, the suspect fled the scene but later returned and was questioned by law enforcement officers.
HCSO indicated that the victim did not display any apparent injuries. However, the medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death for the deceased individual.
