Dallas Police looking for suspects identified in fatal shooting

Dallas Police have named two suspects in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred early Saturday morning.

Authorities were called to the scene of a shooting in the 4400 block of S. Marsalis Avenue around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Upon arrival, they discovered 30-year-old Shaketta Johnson inside her car with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts by Dallas Fire Rescue, Johnson succumbed to her injuries, as reported by the Dallas Police Department.

The suspects fled the scene in a blue Mazda sedan and a black Mercedes, both heading southbound on S. Marsalis Avenue, according to police reports.

Following further investigation, the suspects have been identified as Denute Bell, aged 24, and Keylan Bowens, aged 18. Arrest warrants for murder have been issued for Bell and Bowens by the DPD.
