Unlicensed cosmetic clinician ‘MrInjector1’ back in jail less than 24 hours after posting bond

A League City woman has come forward, alleging she raised concerns about “MrInjector1,” also known as Dustin Moore, years ago.

Moore, who lacks a medical license, faces accusations of administering illegal buttock and Botox-like injections, resulting in harmful side effects for some victims.

ABC13 captured Moore’s arrest at his Pasadena office on Wednesday, and he appeared in court on Friday.

According to prosecutor Sheila Hansel from the Harris County District Attorney’s Office Consumer Fraud Division, victims are often unaware of the substances injected into them, leading to severe illnesses in some instances.

In 2019, a woman named Jenna, who chose not to disclose her last name, filed a complaint against Moore with the Texas Medical Board. She shared images with, depicting swelling and exaggerated features post-injection.

“He mauled me. He assaulted me,” she expressed, describing the aftermath as “horrible.” Jenna underwent two surgeries to remove the unknown substance injected into her.

The Texas Medical Board took action in 2020, issuing a cease-and-desist order against Moore, preventing him from practicing medicine without a license.

Moore, who goes by “MrInjector1” on social media, remained silent when approached by during his arrest and outside the courtroom on Friday. His attorney declined to comment.

Initially charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury and three counts of practicing medicine without a license, two of the latter charges were dismissed on Friday due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.

However, Moore faced additional legal trouble on Friday when he was taken back into custody for violating probation related to a prior charge of choking an ex-girlfriend.

His bond was set at $80,000, which he posted later in the day. As a condition of his bond, Moore must wear an ankle monitor and avoid contact with his alleged victims.

Houston Police Department continues to investigate Moore, with more charges possible as additional victims come forward.

Earlier this week, Eyewitness News interviewed Brianne Griego, who sued Moore for injecting her with an unapproved substance instead of the filler she thought she was receiving. Griego suffered various painful side effects but has since recovered and is cooperating with authorities.
