Missing 78-year-old man is found safe

Fort Worth police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing man whose family believes he may be lost.

Jesus Avila, 78, was last seen about 10 a.m. Monday in the 2500 block of Timberline Drive, near Old Mansfield Road.

Avila is described as a Hispanic man who is 5-9 and about 170 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and brown shoes.
