Arrest made after missing child found in stranger’s apartment, Sansom Park Police say

A man has been taken into custody following an incident where a child reported missing from their residence was discovered inside his apartment in Samson Park on Friday.

Authorities received a report of a missing child in the 2900 block of La Junta Street at the Sansom Bluff Apartments. Multiple law enforcement agencies, including those from Fort Worth, White Settlement, River Oak, Westworth Village, and Castleberry ISD Police, joined in the search for the minor.

During the search efforts, it was determined that the child was located within the premises of a man’s apartment. Police clarified that the individual had no familial ties to the missing child, prompting an investigation into the circumstances.

Subsequently, the man was arrested on charges of endangering a child. His identity has not been disclosed at this time.

Fortunately, there have been no reports of any injuries associated with the incident. The investigation remains ongoing.
