Man dies a day after being shot in the leg in east Oak Cliff, Dallas police say

Dallas police are investigating after a man was fatally shot in east Oak Cliff.

Officers were called about 12:30 p.m. Monday to the 2300 block of South Denley Drive, near East Illinois Avenue and South Lancaster Road, where a man had been shot in the leg.

That man, whom police have not identified, died from his injuries Tuesday.

Police did not release any other details about the shooting.
