Person found shot to death in car at west Houston apartment complex, police said

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Police are investigating the death of a person who was found shot to death in a car at an apartment complex parking lot on Houston’s westside.

Homicide detectives were called to the Woodchase Apartments on Meadowglen Lane near south Gessner around 3:43 p.m. Sunday afternoon after reports of an suspicious vehicle that witnesses said had been there all morning.

Police said when they arrived at the scene, they found the body in the driver’s seat inside the vehicle.

The Houston Police Department has not confirmed the identity of the victim, or released a name of a suspect.
