Shooter at large after man found fatally shot in Red Bird area, Dallas police say

A man was found fatally shot Friday afternoon in the Red Bird area of southern Dallas, and police say no suspects have been identified.

Officers responded about 1:20 p.m. to a shooting call in the 6900 block of the Marvin D. Love Freeway service road, near West Camp Wisdom Road.

They found a wounded man — whom authorities did not identify — and he was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries, police said.

Police did not release any more details about what led to the shooting, and no arrests have been made.
